Experience

Mr. Weiss possesses more than 18 years of experience providing accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting services. His tax experience includes representation of U.S. and multi-national clients at examinations with the Internal Revenue Service, various states' Departments of Revenue, Sales Tax Divisions and Departments of Labor. With a substantial client base of foreign corporations, Mr. Weiss deals extensively with multi-national tax issues.  In addition, he also represents foreign companies in many industries and locales doing business in the United States through US subsidiaries or branches. He advises multi-national clients on a variety of planning issues including U.S. operating entity selection; transfer pricing, and long-term financial planning including exit strategies.

He also possesses substantial experience in real estate matters and works with real estate developers, owner-operators, lessors and investors in many facets of the real estate industry. His practice also includes “family office functions” representing high net worth individuals and families, in providing management and bookkeeping services, as well as sophisticated tax planning and client education. He also assists with mergers and acquisitions including performing due diligence reviews.
