With over 30 years of professional experience, Mr. Sterman provides accounting, auditing, securitization, due diligence, forensic accounting, litigation support, and mergers and acquisition services to specialty finance companies and their investors and lenders. He reviews gain-on-sale recognition accounting for transfers and servicing of financial assets. He possesses special expertise of the leasing and loan industry with a focus on auto and equipment leasing and commercial finance. Mr. Sterman also performs collateral reviews for lenders, investors and other lease portfolio acquirers.
In addition to working with structured finance companies, Mr. Sterman provides accounting and auditing services to manufacturers and distributors in numerous industries including food, plastic, machinery and parts, and paper products. His diverse experience encompasses mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, negotiating financing, inventory reduction, and profit enhancement. He has prepared and reviewed operating and financial budgets, business plans and cash flow needs.
